Looking Back at Childhood: Risk Factors for Future Illness and Essentials for Full Body Health and Jaw Development
Food, Fillings, Mercury, Metal, Braces, Extractions and More
Food
Celia Farber, author of The Truth Barrier, is one of my favorite Substackers. In a recent piece, she tells the story of her childhood exposures and eating habits. It got me thinking about my own extreme picky eating.
Unlike Celia, I had access to nutritious food. My parents would have enjoyed watching me eat a nutrient-dense meal, but I ate only five things: ham, American cheese, applesauce, graham crackers and Flintstone vitamins.
My parents were very concerned.
Weston A. Price published Nutrition and Physical Degeneration fifty years prior, but books that convey knowledge fail to appear on public library shelves. Knowledge remains hidden in books never read.
My public library system serves close to half a million people. It has been scrubbed of Weston A Price and his body of work.
Metal In My Mouth
I received my first mercury filling1 in elementary school. I was also the first in my class to get braces. I wore a retainer for two years followed by full braces for two more years. This initial orthodontic experience ended with another retainer for an additional two years. Six years total to get a handle on my unruly choppers. I named my final retainer “Lenny” and only lost him once. My teeth straightened, but the root causes of oral pathologies were not addressed by the addition of a mouthful of metal. Metal placement serves as a quick or cosmetic ‘fix.’
Modern parents have no ancestral guidance from a tribe of people with actual knowledge.
Hal Huggins described illness resulting from mercury amalgam fillings and even braces in his landmark publication It’s All In Your Head (1993.) He also describes recovery following safe removal of fillings and other metal masking as helpful dental interventions. Recoveries resulting from oral restorations are impossible to study with a clinical trial. These cases should take their rightful place among scientific observation, hypothesis development and evidence for logical decision-making.
Root Canal
Years after Lenny was stored away in a box of childhood memories, a tooth unexpectedly ‘resorbed’ for no known reason. The dentist asked my mother if I had experienced head trauma. “This type of problem is a sign of head trauma,” he declared. Odd. My childhood was as close to perfect as one can imagine. I did not even know child abuse existed. I had never been in an accident of any kind, nor had I hit my head. Where was the so-called trauma?
I visited another dentist who performed a root canal, placing me at risk of future, serious illness.
The film Root Cause (2019) is a must-see. Linked below are the trailer and full documentary. Watch it before you experience illness.
Wisdom Teeth Extraction
My adolescent oral journey continued with a surgery to remove four impacted wisdom teeth at the age of 15. Wisdom teeth are the last-to-erupt, sometimes emerging at age 30. In my little mouth, there was no room for the teeth in the back to erupt in ancestral fashion, and my dentist scared my mother about future infections. The field of Orthotropics, which promotes ancestral (full) jaw development, was not yet known. Only recently did John Mew publish the combined work of him and his father, Professor John Mew, a British orthodontist. This video demonstrates the different outcomes associated with orthotropics versus mainstream orthodontics. One can never know what should have been. Unless one has an identical twin that received the effective treatment.
My parents had no YouTube instructions teaching them how to avoid future mouth and teeth problems through natural breastfeeding, ensuring proper tongue placement, chewing well, nasal breathing, nutrition, and practicing correct posture. These factors interact to form a person’s unique best jaw and open airway.
A search for John Mew’s publications at my library also leave me empty-handed. Surely, if these books are important, they would be catalogued at the public library?!
Are we living under a wide umbrella of censorship and knowledge suppression—one that blocks the generational accumulation of knowledge and disallows the passing down of any information that leads to recovery?
My body did not react well to the extraction surgery that removed four back teeth. Long after the pain and swelling had ceased, the left side of my face ‘ballooned up.’ The reason was ‘unknown’ and antibiotics were prescribed.
All of these dental interventions were and are still considered normal. Maternal wisdom, however, is seeping into the generations and slowly taking hold. My mother was able to create a loving childhood environment for her children, even though she did not experience one herself. I returned to the old-fashioned notion of breastfeeding and my children escaped mercury amalgams. I made serious mistakes in the diet category and failed to have my own mouth restored prior to having children. I succumbed to authority and a modern concept of ‘health requirements’ (i.e., necessary poisonings) when it came to childbirth, childhood vaccination and medicine until my youngest became ill and medical absurdity became obvious. I invited wireless technologies into my home and lived under the shadow of a cell tower without searching the literature for evidence of harm until I became very ill and the cause became apparent.
Confusing narratives and mandated exposure to unmeasured, unmonitored toxins are escalating in today’s parenting landscape. A poisoned childhood has become the norm. Tribal knowledge has been replaced with endless products, services and ever-evolving mandated bad advice. All of it rests on the invalid (but believed) assumption that earlier generations were trying to figure out what to eat and how to get straight teeth and how to develop and how to maintain health. There is much opportunity for the next generation to get it right. All of it!
To my children, I pass on information that may allow them to have really healthy children if they so choose.23456 As today’s youngest generation matures, they do so under a burgeoning industrial complex. Engineered cultural beliefs that tricked their parents and grandparents continue to slide through decision points without notice. If our children "do as we did” they will be further participating in the decline of childhood—and with it—humanity. Their children will have even more health problems at younger and younger ages. Different, uncomfortable decisions need to be made, without haste.
By really healthy children I mean strong, sturdy, fully developed ancestral-like bodies, with the potential to relax fully, including arms receiving no vaccination and mouths requiring no intervention. I am rooting for the next generation. Watch for my 2045 update.

Knowledge-Accumulating Resources (KARs) are landmark books, films and research articles that describe an essential aspect of modern reality related to health, illness and human survival. I coined this phrase to describe my growing collection of hard-to-find titles: films dropped from Netflex following complaints from industry; books not at the library; peer-reviewed articles retracted. Newer is not better. Valid is better. KAR content is often censored, their authors persecuted. These resources are timeless and will be just as important when their covers look outdated and pages are discolored.
None of these resources are available at my public library.
"A poisoned childhood has become the norm." And a poisoned adulthood. It's horrifying. When will we wake up to this?
